Victoria Pax is het muzikale alter-ego van Gentse Oostendenaar Vito Dhaenens (28). Een wild paard met gebroken knieën op de kippenboerderij. Probeert (waarschijnlijk net iets té veel) niets dan vredesrijst te eten en liefdesgif te drinken in een poging te ontsnappen uit de kooi van het zelfbewustzijn. Vaart, zingt en danst zo richting het beloofde land waar vrede zegeviert.

Wil klinken als John Talabot, JJ Cale, Big Thief, George Harrison, Gregory Isaacs, Bob Dylan, Richie Hawtin, Bob Marley, Fontaines DC, Kurt Vile, Michael Jackson, Patti Smith en Talking Heads. En Roy Orbison. En misschien ook als Rihanna.

Maar vooral moedigt Victoria Pax je aan om je gevel te schilderen in éénder welke pot verf binnen handbereik. Het vergt moed en volharding om Victoria Pax te zijn.

Victoria Pax est l'alter ego musical de Vito Dhaenens, un Ostendais de Gand âgé de 28 ans. Un cheval sauvage aux genoux brisés dans la ferme de poulets. Il essaie (probablement un peu trop) de ne manger que du riz de la paix et de boire du poison d'amour dans une tentative d'échapper à la cage de la conscience de soi. Il navigue, chante et danse ainsi vers la terre promise où la paix triomphe.

Il veut sonner comme John Talabot, JJ Cale, Big Thief, George Harrison, Gregory Isaacs, Bob Dylan, Richie Hawtin, Bob Marley, Fontaines DC, Kurt Vile, Michael Jackson, Patti Smith et Talking Heads. Et Roy Orbison. Et peut-être aussi comme Rihanna.
