BIANCA STECK

Bianca Steck is een jonge muzikant, zangeres, songwriter en architect uit Barcelona met Britse en Duitse roots, momenteel woonachtig in Brussel. Haar muzikale opleiding was voornamelijk klassiek, waarbij ze piano- en klarinetstudies aan het conservatorium voltooide. Op vijftienjarige leeftijd begon ze haar eigen nummers te schrijven en verkende ze verschillende harmonieën en klanken die aansloten bij haar innerlijke houding ten opzichte van muziek, met een intieme toon die natuurlijk overgaat in haar stem. Teksten zijn betekenisvol en spelen een belangrijke rol in haar werk, omdat ze verhalen vertellen en haar liedjes in bredere zin verbinden met een folk- en popmuziektraditie. Haar debuutalbum zal binnenkort verschijnen, geproduceerd samen met de Catalaanse pianist en componist Nil Ciuró.

Bianca Steck est une jeune musicienne, chanteuse, compositrice et architecte de Barcelone, avec des origines britanniques et allemandes, actuellement basée à Bruxelles. Sa formation musicale formelle était principalement classique, ayant complété des études de piano et de clarinette au conservatoire. À l'âge de quinze ans, elle a commencé à écrire ses propres morceaux et à explorer différentes harmonies et sonorités qui correspondaient à son attitude intérieure envers la musique, avec un ton intime se fondant naturellement dans sa voix. Les paroles sont significatives et jouent un rôle important dans son travail, car elles racontent des histoires et relient ses chansons à une tradition de musique folk et pop. Son premier album sortira bientôt, produit en collaboration avec le pianiste et compositeur catalan Nil Ciuró.

Bianca Steck is a Barcelona born young musician, singer, songwriter and architect of British and German origin, currently based in Brussels. Her formal musical upbringing was mainly classical, completing the studies of piano and clarinet at the conservatory. At the age of fifteen she began writing her own tunes while exploring different harmonies and sounds which suited her inner attitude towards music with an intimate tone merging naturally into her voice. Lyrics are meaningful and play an important role in her work since they tell stories and broadly speaking relate her songs to a folk and pop music tradition. Her debut album will come to light very soon, produced together with Catalan pianist and composer Nil Ciuró.
