YELLOWSTRAPS

YellowStraps are a team of young dreamers. A home-grown trio of self‐taught bedroom musicians have long been busy conjuring up a very particular sound in the Belgian outpost of Braine-l'Alleud. When asked about their influences they cite projects like Flying Lotus, Mount Kimbie, Dream Koala and Giraffage. But also mention Patrick Watson, Bombay Bicycle Club and Lucy Rose in the same breath.

They got picked up by Belgium's hip hop favourite Lefto who opened his weekly radio show with their track Pollen just before the summer in 2013 and steadily started playing live. By the end of 2014 they had played in a lot of Belgium’s finest venues (Botanique, Het Depot, De Vooruit, Arenberg, Muziekodroom…) and were joined by drummer Mr. Comb.
